Adventure Quest Summer Camp

At Lynn-Rose’s Adventure Quest Summer Camp, learning and fun come together in a vibrant, caring environment on our Mississauga campus.

Designed for campers aged 4 – 12, the program blends academic enrichment with classic summer camp experiences, so children stay curious, confident and ready for the year ahead.

Lynn-Rose School

Summer Camp program

Experience a balanced summer where structured academics meet creative adventures, sports and new friendships in a safe, caring environment.

Academic Boost

Relaxed, structured lessons that keep skills sharp all summer long

Morning sessions focus on structured academic reinforcement in a relaxed, supportive environment. Small groups work on literacy, numeracy and inquiry‑based projects that consolidate key skills from the school year while introducing concepts for the grade ahead.

Lessons feel like interactive workshops, not traditional classrooms, with hands‑on tasks and opportunities to ask questions. This balanced approach helps reduce summer learning loss and keeps campers engaged, curious and ready for a confident return to school.

Creative Arts

Imagination comes to life through hands‑on art and design

Campers spark their imagination through daily creative arts sessions that blend fun and skill-building. Guided by caring staff, children explore drawing, painting, mixed‑media crafts and simple design projects that connect to each week’s camp theme.

They work on individual pieces and collaborative creations, learning to express ideas, tell stories visually and share their work with friends. Along the way, they build confidence, fine motor skills and pride in seeing their projects displayed around the campus.

Sports & Play

Active games that build strength, skills and team spirit

Active afternoons encourage campers to move, play and build healthy habits. Children take part in age‑appropriate games and sports such as soccer, basketball, relays and cooperative team challenges on Lynn‑Rose’s fields and play spaces.

Activities are designed to promote fitness, coordination and resilience while emphasizing fair play and respect. With encouragement from counsellors, every camper can try new skills, support teammates and enjoy the excitement of friendly competition in a safe, structured setting.

Life & Leadership

Everyday activities that nurture confidence, independence and character

Beyond games and academics, the camp helps children develop practical life skills and a sense of responsibility. Through age‑appropriate activities, campers practise collaboration, problem‑solving and decision‑making in real‑world scenarios, from group challenges to simple planning tasks.

They learn how to communicate, listen to others and take turns leading. Daily routines also encourage independence and organization, helping children grow more confident and ready for the next school year.
