Our commitment to safeguarding

At our international school in Mississauga, safeguarding is woven into everyday school life because we know students learn best when they feel protected, respected, and heard.

Every adult on campus – from teachers and support staff to volunteers, contractors, and partners – shares a clear responsibility to keep students safe and to promote their wellbeing.

Safeguarding policy

Safeguarding policy

At Lynn-Rose, in line with the International Schools Partnership - ISP, we believe that:

  • Children’s welfare comes first and every student has the right to be safe and feel safe, whatever their background or needs
  • Education supports protection, with a broad curriculum that helps students recognise risks and keep themselves safe, including online
  • Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, and all adults must act in the best interests of students and work closely with parents, carers, and other professionals
  • All students have equal rights to protection, with extra support where needed
  • Staff are safely recruited, with thorough vetting and Criminal Background Checks (or equivalent) covering the previous 10 years of employment
