At our international school in Mississauga, safeguarding is woven into everyday school life because we know students learn best when they feel protected, respected, and heard.
Every adult on campus – from teachers and support staff to volunteers, contractors, and partners – shares a clear responsibility to keep students safe and to promote their wellbeing.Â

At Lynn-Rose, high quality education takes the form of inquiry-based and conceptually focused learning, delivered according to the philosophy of the International Baccalaureate. As a parent of a Lynn-Rose student, I am confident in the education my daughter is receiving and the close contact the teachers have with our family is what ensures our daughter is known, cared for and challenged to grow academically.
Having been part of its journey since the very beginning, I have witnessed our vision transform into a thriving, student-centred learning community built on high expectations, strong relationships, and a deep belief in every child’s potential. I remain deeply passionate about the work we do each day. One of the greatest rewards of my role is watching our students develop into confident, capable young adults and seeing them go on to succeed at university and beyond. Their accomplishments reflect not only their dedication, but also the strength and commitment of our entire school community. Lynn-Rose College is more than a school—it is a place where students are inspired to grow, achieve, and shape their futures with confidence and purpose.
At Lynn-Rose, in line with the International Schools Partnership - ISP, we believe that:Â
Monitored campuses
Our campuses are monitored with CCTV and controlled entry points, supported by a visitor registration system so we always know who is on site.
Online & data safety
Strict online safety protocols, a published Privacy Policy, and secure, password‑protected systems help protect students’ digital activity and personal information.
Safer recruitment
All staff, volunteers, contractors, and partners undergo rigorous vetting and criminal background checks to uphold the highest standards of child protection.
Child protection
Students are safeguarded by clear child protection policies, a Designated Safeguarding Lead, and adults who are trained to spot concerns early and act in each child’s best interests.
Respect & inclusion
Anti-bullying workshops, digital safety seminars, a student laptop user agreement, and events like Pink Shirt Day, Orange Shirt Day, and Multicultural Day help us build a safe, kind, and inclusive school culture.
