It is a privilege to join the Lynn-Rose community as Head of School. With 30 years of experience in education and over two decades in school leadership, I have come to believe that the heart of a great school is found in its people and in the relationships we build with one another.
My approach to leadership is grounded in a simple belief: every student should be known, valued, challenged, and inspired. I am passionate about creating learning environments where students are empowered to think deeply, ask meaningful questions, discover their strengths, and develop the confidence, character, and skills to make a positive difference in the world.
As an IB school, Lynn-Rose is uniquely positioned to nurture curious, reflective, compassionate, and globally minded learners. I look forward to working collaboratively with our students, educators, families, and wider community to continue building a culture of learning, innovation, excellence, and belonging.
I lead with humility, integrity, and a strong belief in the power of people working together. I am excited to listen, learn, and contribute to the Lynn-Rose journey—and, most importantly, to get to know the students and families who make this community so special.
Michelle Lau is the Principal of the Upper School of Lynn-Rose, where she has dedicated the past ten years to fostering an environment of academic excellence and student growth.Also acting as the Head of Guidance and Future Pathways Advisor, Michelle has been instrumental in supporting students’ personal, academic, and career development. She holds a Masters of Education, Ontario principal qualification, and guidance counselor certification, and brings passion and experience to her leadership role.
Nicole Dabrowski has been a dedicated member of the Lynn-Rose community since 2016. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Child Studies as well as a Bachelor of Education with a Primary–Junior teaching specialization. With experience teaching students from Kindergarten through Grade 6, Nicole brings a deep understanding of child development, curriculum, and classroom practice to her leadership role.
Throughout her years at Lynn-Rose, Nicole has been known for her warmth, professionalism, and commitment to creating an engaging, supportive learning environment for every student. Her passion for education and her ability to connect with children, families, and staff have made her an invaluable part of the school community.
Today, Nicole proudly serves as the Principal of the Lower School and Designated Safeguarding Lead, where she leads with integrity, compassion, and a student-centered vision. She is dedicated to fostering a safe, inclusive, and inspiring school culture that empowers young learners to thrive academically and emotionally.

With over 30 years of experience in education and school admissions, Jennifer brings a deep passion for helping families find the right learning environment for their children. Her career began in the classroom, where she discovered firsthand the importance of meaningful relationships, strong communication, and a supportive school community.Today, as the Director of Admissions at Lynn-Rose, Jennifer is committed to creating a warm, welcoming, and supportive experience for every family she meets. She believes that admissions is not just about enrollment, it’s about building relationships, understanding each child’s unique needs, and helping families feel confident and excited about their educational path.With over three decades of experience and a genuine love for guiding families, Jennifer continues to bring enthusiasm, empathy, and professionalism to her role, ensuring that Lynn-Rose remains a place where students and parents alike feel at home.
Sireen Faza has been an integral part of Lynn-Rose School since 2017, bringing a unique blend of technical expertise and a genuine passion for working with families. Her career began as an IT teacher, where she developed a love for guiding students, fostering curiosity, and supporting their learning journeys.Today, as Registrar and Communication Liaison at Lynn-Rose School, Sireen is dedicated to creating a warm, welcoming, and organized experience for every family she works with. She believes her role is more than managing records—it’s about building relationships, understanding each family’s needs, and helping them feel confident and supported throughout their educational journey.With her background in computer science and her commitment to the school, Sireen combines efficiency, empathy, and approachability, ensuring that every family at Lynn-Rose feels valued, informed, and at home.
Sneha Banerjee
Student Wellness and Behaviour Lead
Sneha Banerjee is a dedicated and passionate educator in her fourth year at Lynn Rose School, committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment for all students. She strongly believes in fostering a school community built on kindness, respect, and belonging, where every child feels seen, valued, and supported.
For the past two years, she has served as a Designated Safeguarding Lead for lower school, working closely with staff, families, and ISP to identify, monitor, and respond to safeguarding concerns. In this role, she has developed strong systems for early intervention, maintained detailed and confidential records, and supported both students and colleagues in navigating complex situations with professionalism, empathy, and care.
In addition, she currently serves as the Student Wellness and Behaviour Lead for lower school, overseeing whole-school approaches to student well-being and behaviour. In this role, she leads the development and implementation of positive behaviour strategies, supports staff with classroom management and coordinates targeted interventions for students requiring additional social, emotional, or behavioural support. She works collaboratively with families to ensure students receive consistent, holistic care, helping them thrive both academically and emotionally.

John Slipachenko is an experienced and student-centred educational leader with a strong commitment to fostering positive school culture, student well-being, and academic excellence. He is dedicated to creating learning environments where students feel supported, challenged, and empowered to grow both academically and personally.
Currently serving as Online School Coordinator and Head of Wellbeing at Lynn-Rose School, John works closely with students, staff, and families to strengthen student engagement, well-being, and school connectedness. He believes that strong relationships, high expectations, and intentional support systems are essential to helping students succeed. His approach emphasizes compassion, accountability, restorative practices, and the development of the whole child.
John is passionate about developing meaningful educational experiences that inspire confidence, resilience, curiosity, and lifelong learning in students. He continues to advocate for educational practices that balance academic rigour with student well-being, ensuring that every learner is supported to reach their full potential.
Damanpreet Kaur is the Designated Safeguarding Lead at Lynn-Rose College and also teaches Physics to Upper School students. With several years of experience in this role, she is dedicated to ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students, staff, and visitors, while also fostering curiosity and academic excellence in her science classes.
In her safeguarding role, Damanpreet oversees the implementation of child protection policies, provides guidance on welfare matters, and coordinates staff training to promote a strong culture of safety and well-being across the school. As a Physics teacher, she brings her passion for science and hands-on learning into the classroom, encouraging students to explore concepts critically and creatively.
