Reimagining the IB Diploma
In 2027, Lynn‑Rose relaunches the IB Diploma Programme* with refreshed pathways, integrating AP and OSSD options so students can tailor a truly global, university‑ready experience.
In 1997, educators Tara Bullock and Marie Attard saw an opportunity to reimagine how young children learn. They opened Lynn‑Rose as a nurturing preschool built on close relationships, inquiry and a genuinely student‑centered approach.
Families were drawn to the warm atmosphere and strong academics and the school quickly grew into a respected Primary program. Those early years cemented the values of integrity, innovation and community that still define Lynn‑Rose today.
By 2014, Lynn‑Rose’s founders wanted an academic framework that matched their global, future‑focused vision. Gaining authorization as an IB World School and implementing the PYP and MYP marked a turning point.
The IB’s emphasis on inquiry, reflection and international‑mindedness aligned with the culture already thriving on campus. Students began exploring big ideas across disciplines, connecting learning to real‑world issues and developing the attributes of caring, principled, global citizens.
In 2018, Lynn‑Rose took a major step by launching Lynn‑Rose College, a dedicated high school campus. The expansion answered families’ call for a seamless JK–12 journey rooted in the same values that shaped the early years.
The new Upper School offers rigorous pathways including Advanced Placement and the Ontario Secondary School Diploma, within small classes where every student is known. The IB Diploma Programme* is set to relaunch in 2027, further strengthening Lynn‑Rose’s commitment to preparing graduates for competitive universities and an increasingly interconnected world.
