At Lynn-Rose School, we are dedicated to guiding each student towards their ideal post-secondary path!

At Lynn-Rose School, we are dedicated to guiding each student towards their ideal post-secondary path, providing them with the necessary tools and information to make informed decisions. This commitment was recently showcased through an exciting field trip for our senior students to the University of Waterloo, a renowned institution known for its competitive programs and innovative facilities.

Organized by Ms. Lisa Little, our Head Teacher, this trip was a key part of our comprehensive university preparation program. It offered our students an invaluable opportunity to experience university life firsthand. During the guided tour and information session, students immersed themselves in the campus atmosphere, gained insights into various programs, and had the chance to ask detailed questions about facilities and campus life.A standout feature of the visit was the exploration of the university's Quantum-Nano Center. This 285,000 square foot state-of-the-art building is not only a hub for over 50 researchers and more than 100 graduate students but also hosts Canada's largest undergraduate nanotechnology engineering program. The center's advanced facilities and innovative environment left a lasting impression on our students, sparking their curiosity and ambition.

The University of Waterloo, with its distinguished reputation and rigorous admission standards, has been a chosen destination for many of our graduates. We take great pride in the fact that 100% of our Grade 12 graduates confidently transition into their selected post-secondary institutions. This record is a testament to the effectiveness of our guidance and support throughout their educational journey at Lynn-Rose.

Our visit to the University of Waterloo was more than just a tour; it was a pivotal moment for our students to envision their future and understand the possibilities that await them in higher education. At Lynn-Rose, we celebrate each step our students take towards their success, and this visit was a shining example of our commitment to their bright futures.
