Dear Lynn-Rose families,
December is a month to celebrate the hard work of students and staff, and we have several exciting events upcoming as we bring school to a close for the Winter Break. Whether through performances, showcases of learning, or culminating projects, we come together as a community to recognize what our students have accomplished through their efforts.
This Wednesday, December 10th, we are very pleased to host our Lower School Winter Concert at Meadowvale Theatre. The students have been practicing and practicing, and they are now ready for the big stage! I look forward to seeing all of our Lower School parents at this exciting event. There are still a few tickets remaining if you would like to bring along another family member or friend to enjoy the performance.
On Tuesday, December 16th, the Upper School will host its first Winter Market. This new event will showcase the entrepreneurial mindset of our students as they execute their business plans and sell their goods. All families are warmly invited to attend and support the students’ efforts. Our Upper School Music students will also be performing during the event to add to the festive atmosphere.
While these events encompass entire divisions of the school, celebrations of learning are also taking place each day. There are some wonderful examples in this week’s newsletter—from Grade 1 to Grade 12—and we hope you enjoy reading about what has been happening across the school.
I look forward to connecting with our families at these upcoming events as we celebrate the learning and performances of our students!
